KNOXVILLE, Tenn - On Friday, April 18, 2025, the Knoxville branch office of Rio Grande Fence Co. of Tennessee served the YWCA in Oak Ridge, TN with the company’s annual Good Friday service project. At no cost to YWCA, Rio Grande Fence Co. of Tennessee provided removal of an old and broken 4’H chain link fence and new installation of 219’ linear feet of 8’H, solid privacy, wood fence set on commercial steel posts

“Our visitation center is one of my favorite spots at the Oak Ridge YWCA location. It is a place where kids can just be kids. It’s a place where visiting party can just work on rebuilding and growing, nurturing, nourishing, just anything you can think of with their children.” said Latoya Shephard, Director of Victim Services. Each year, RGF selects one Knoxville and one Nashville non-profit to provide perimeter security needs and provides all materials and installation for a new, commercial-grade fence at no cost to the organization.
