Our installation department employees have two option packages to select from for acceptable PPE when installing razor wire fence. They must select one package and be wearing the following items prior to beginning any work with razor wire materials and throughout the entire process of handling these dangerous materials.
The HexArmor Hercules gloves with SuperFabric® brand material palm provides 360° ANSI/ISEA cut level A9 resistance for some of the highest cut protection available for fence installations.
OPTION A (as modeled)
– HexArmor Hercules glove on non-dominant hand for holding the razor wire steady
– HexArmor Mechanics+ glove on dominant hand for your hog ring pliers
– HexArmor Z87+ safety glasses (choice of clear or dark). For those that prefer HexArmor Z87+ goggles, that is an approved upgrade to provide greater coverage.
OPTION B

Employees have the choice of either option presented, but they must pick one and maintain wearing the selected PPE package at all times while handling razor wire. It’s never acceptable to work with razor wire without the proper PPE. Our team understands that If they don’t have the correct PPE, they can’t work. No compromises.
